Annie Leibovtiz

I chose to do the powerpoint project over Annie Leibovitz.  I never had her in mind from the start, really didn't know what I was doing.  I kind of just searched around on the websites given and found her work very interesting.  I am into the celebrity world, so her pictures are perfect for my taste.  She takes a celebrity and transforms them into a dramatic person in a fantasy land.  They aren't just your average "portrait" pictures.  Rather, they show emtotion through staged settings to set the mood.  I love them!

All of these photos are very pretty! They demonstrate artistic design, fantasy, and dramatic skill.

Photoshopped Bunny

Here is a photo of my sisters bunny.  The first photo is without using flash nor any alterations.  The second photo I changed the brightness of the picture and the contrast.

Object Letters on a Canvas

Here I created my canvas with the pictures of the letter ojects previously uploaded.  I created this in Picnik by creating two different collages since there were no collages with more than 4 image spaces.   I then took what I learned from powerpoint and grouping two images together to group both my collages together.  Here is the end result.

Letter Objects

Here are the letters in my name in the form of objects found within the house.  Some of the letters were a little difficult, so I had to play around with a few objects.

Kitty Film Strip

I volunteered at the animal shelter this weekend and took a few pictures.  I wanted to take what I learned from the film strip video and use the photos I recently took.

Paradise Film Strip

The below picture was merely of a film strip in which I inserted a personilized photo (Cancun 2009) and added some text to.  I then combined a couple of them to make a border.  This was all created in powerpoint.

A Closer Look at Love

The following two photos are of the same photo, but the second photo is cropped a little bit.  I cut everything out around the LOVE.  Although it shows depth of field, the background takes away from the central theme of love.  Getting rid of the basket handle and outlet shaves off a bit of distraction.
